Supervision and control
Psagot, formerly a bank subsidiary, decided to continue functioning with the conservatism of a banking entity. Psagot Investment House's activities are supervised by the Israeli Securities Authority, the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and the Ministry of Finance's Capital Market Unit.
In early 2008, Psagot established a regulatory and compliance unit, which is an objective, independent unit responsible for dealing with matters such as risk management, control, credit control and compliance of the investment house and at all its subsidiaries. The unit employs a full time credit controller, risk controller, risk managers, compliance officers and control managers.
