Psagot Exchange Traded Notes is Israel’s oldest ETN Company.  In May 2000 the company launched the first exchange traded note in Israel.  Today, the company manages assets of close to NIS  8* billion, by means of 63 exchange traded notes that track stock indices in Israel and in global markets , bond indices, currencies and goods.
Psagot Exchange Traded Notes operates an ETN trading room with  approximately  35 traders and risk managers.  The trading room is one of the most modern of its type, with sophisticated trading systems.

Psagot, formerly a bank subsidiary, decided to continue functioning with the conservatism of a banking entity.  Psagot Investment House's activities are supervised by the Israeli Securities Authority, the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and the Ministry of Finance's Capital Market Unit. 
In early 2008, Psagot established a regulatory and compliance unit, which is an objective, independent unit responsible for dealing with matters such as risk management, control, credit control and compliance of the investment house and at all its subsidiaries.  The unit employs a full time credit controller, risk controller, risk managers, compliance officers and control managers.

Mr. Vardi holds a B.A in economics and business administration from the Hebrew University.  Mr. Vardi has More than 22 years experience working in the capital market and trading rooms. 
Serves as the CEO of Psagot Exchange Traded Notes since 2005.
